WL6-2205 ABS Cigar Humidor

Cigar Humidors
WL6-2205 is a compact ABS hard case in the JUNZHIJIA 6 Series for cigar humidors. Outer 222 x 128 x 50 mm, inner 200 x 98 x 41 mm with a 15 mm lid and a 26 mm base giving 41 mm of inner height. It is moulded in ABS with a 3.5 mm wall and weighs 310 g. At 50 mm outer height and 310 g it is the slimmest humidor in the series, with 41 mm of inner height for shorter and thinner cigars; for longer cigars the same footprint in WL6-2209 offers 78 mm of inner height. The sealed shell carries an IP67 waterproof and dustproof rating for tools, instruments, electronics and field equipment. Suited to flat storage of shorter cigars and often used for low-profile rotation of small precision parts. Each piece is poly-bagged, 20 per carton measuring 475 x 285 x 320 mm. Frequently Asked Questions

What are the exact outer and inner dimensions of WL6-2205?

The outer shell is 222 x 128 x 50 mm and the internal cavity is 200 x 98 x 41 mm. Externally the case occupies 222 x 128 mm of bench or shelf space while the usable floor inside is 200 x 98 mm, the difference coming from the wall section and the moulded closing geometry. Size a load from the inner dimensions, never from the outside, because outside figures overstate capacity. The 41 mm inner height is the maximum upright height available, and any lining you add reduces it further, so allow for that when the insert is designed.

How deep are the lid and the base?

The lid adds 15 mm of internal depth and the base adds 26 mm, giving 41 mm of combined inner height. A 15 mm lid over a 26 mm base makes this a flat structure only 50 mm thick overall, which suits drawer storage or shelf gaps, at the cost of a 41 mm inner height that practically rules out upright contents. When judging whether a body suits your contents, read the base figure first, because it sets how tall an item can stand, while the lid figure decides how much headroom remains above it. Only the sum of the two is usable height, and when measuring a part, include handles, connectors and bosses, or the lid will press on it once closed. If the lining is routed rather than flat, the pocket depth should be taken from the base side.

Is the case waterproof and dustproof, and to what rating?

The shell uses a sealed closure and provides an IP67 waterproof and dustproof rating. On a flat body the joint is easy to keep aligned, and it is worth checking the rim for small trapped debris after each closing. The rating applies to the sealed cavity of the case itself, so if you store moisture-sensitive contents, pair it with desiccant or a humidity management accessory and check the sealing face for trapped debris every time you close the lid, since a single trapped fragment undermines the seal.

What is the difference between WL6-2205 and WL6-2209?

Both share the 222 x 128 mm footprint and a 3.5 mm wall. This model is 50 mm outside with a 41 mm inner height and a 310 g unit weight, while WL6-2209 measures 87 mm outside, 78 mm inside and 410 g. Take this one for shorter, thinner cigars and WL6-2209 for longer ones. The two models are not a step up from one another but a division of labour by content size: measure the height of the contents first, then the floor area, and confirm pack quantity and carton size last. Applying the same order when an insert is designed avoids reworking a lining because the case body was fixed too early.
