Where does the 215 mm internal height sit in the series?
This model is 380*267*215 mm inside and 405*325*230 mm outside, with a 3.4 mm wall and a net weight of 2240 g. Among 8 Series cases on the 405*325 mm footprint, internal heights run from 140 mm to 215 mm, so this one is at the taller end and suits standing equipment or multi-layer inserts. If you only pack flat, slim items, a shorter model reduces both case height and weight.
How should a three-layer insert be planned?
The cavity is 380*267*215 mm with a usable floor of 380 by 267 mm. A common approach is heavy items in the bottom layer over thicker cushioning foam, the main equipment in the middle, and cables and adapters on top, with each layer thickness set by the item heights and finger cut-outs for easy removal. Dividing by tool type instead of by layer also works well. Send the length, width, height and quantity of each item and we will propose layer thicknesses and pockets.
Can it be used to store first-aid supplies or electronic equipment?
Yes. The 380*267*215 mm cavity and the IP67 water and dust seal suit first-aid supplies, medical consumables and electronic equipment that must be kept dry, dust-free and protected from impact. The 8 Series is designed for protecting instruments, tools and electronic gear in transport. For first-aid use we recommend a divided insert with printed labels for fast access, and we can design the compartments and label positions from your list.
What is the waterproof and dustproof rating?
The closed case is rated IP67 for water and dust protection, keeping rain, moisture and dust out and covering short immersion and dusty workshops. The shell is injection moulded in polypropylene with a sealing structure, so protection depends on the lid seating correctly on the gasket. We do not claim military standard certification for this model. Check the gasket for ageing or trapped debris, and avoid long soaking or heavy rain once it is damaged.

Die-cut and layered foam, body colour, silk-screen or nameplate printing, latch configuration and packaging marks are all available, and we take OEM and ODM bulk orders.
