Both share the same 483*363 mm internal floor and differ in body depth. The 866 measures 540*430*240 mm outside with a 190 mm internal depth and weighs 6000 g, while the 866B measures 535*423*270 mm with a 220 mm internal depth and weighs 6100 g. The extra 30 mm takes taller equipment or another foam layer. Choose the 866 for flat items and the 866B for taller items or layered packing.

The polypropylene shell is injection moulded with a sealing structure and the closed case is rated IP67 for water and dust protection, so it suits damp workshops, outdoor transport and dusty sites. We do not claim military standard certification for this model. A deeper body runs a longer sealing path, so check the gasket regularly for marks or debris and close the latches evenly around the lid.

The shell is polypropylene with a 4.5 mm wall, and the empty case weighs 6100 g. The injection moulded body is rigid yet light, and stays easy to roll even in this deeper format. Clean it with water or mild detergent and a soft cloth, and avoid strong solvents, abrasive pads and long exposure to sunlight that could dull the surface or disturb the lid fit.

It takes upright instruments, measuring tools with brackets or bases, tool groups packed in layers, and equipment that still needs a pad on top after thick foam is placed underneath. Pack heavy parts at the bottom, light parts above, and separate the layers with thin foam. If the total height approaches 220 mm, send a drawing and we will work out the pad clearance.
