WL8-5835 PP Wheeled Protective Case

Both share the same 500*400 mm internal floor. The 5827 gives 220 mm internal depth, measures 588*475*267 mm outside and weighs 7800 g, while the 5835 gives 305 mm, measures 588*475*353 mm and weighs 8520 g. Choose the 5827 for flat equipment in a single layer, and the 305 mm deep 5835 for taller items, layered packing or thick foam.

It suits upright instruments and chassis type equipment, optical or precision gear needing two or more foam layers, and tool kits sorted layer by layer. Put heavy parts in the lower layer near the middle, separate the layers with thin foam and avoid hard contact between them. If the total height approaches 305 mm, send a drawing so we can confirm the clearance.

The polypropylene shell is injection moulded with a sealing structure and the closed case is rated IP67 for water and dust protection, so it works in damp workshops, outdoor transport and dusty sites. We do not claim military standard certification for this model. A deep body has a long sealing face, so check that the gasket sits correctly, clear debris before loading and close the latches evenly.

The wall is 5.0 mm and the empty case weighs 8520 g, so the case itself is substantial and is meant to be rolled on its handle and wheels once loaded. Put heavy items towards the wheel end to lower the centre of gravity. The 295 mm handle sits low, which helps stability. Always lift with two people on stairs and when loading a vehicle.
